Britney Spears Joins Twitter Elite With 10 Million Followers

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Barack Obama, Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian are only others who've reached milestone.

Britney Spears has become the sixth person in Twitter history to break the 10 million mark. The Femme Fatale singer currently has 10,132,860 followers on the social networking site.

Spears is an active tweeter, using the site to send out personal greetings to her followers and to keep fans up-to-date on what's going on in her career and in her life. As of press time, she had sent out 1,095 tweets and was following 419,481 people.

Currently on tour in Europe, the singer frequently sends out tour updates on the site, leaving messages for her fans about the shows and posting video and pictures.

So who beat Britney to the 10 million mark? Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, President Barack Obama, Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian all reached the milestone before Spears.

Mediabistro.com reports that Shakira will likely be the next celeb to reach 10 million, assuming her followers keep growing at their current pace. Ashton Kutcher, who was the first celebrity to reach 1 million followers, may soon be knocked out of the top 10 with folks like Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey and Selena Gomez all gaining on him.

Here are the current followings for the top 10 Twitter celebs: Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) with 14,381,470; Bieber (@justinbieber) with 13,309,185; President Obama (@barackobama) with 10,675,468; Perry (@katyperry) with 10,481,994; Kardashian (@kimkardashian) with 10,307,959; Spears (@britneyspears) with 10,132,860; Shakira (@shakira) with 9,088,877; Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) with 8,415,223; Rihanna (@rihanna) with 8,223,280; and Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) with 7,908,888.

'American Reunion' Trailer Gets Gang Back Together

Kevin, Stifler, Finch and even Jim's dad get in on the action in latest sneak peek.

After a red-band trailer showed us just how little things have changed for Jim and Michelle and how they spend their free time, a brand-new theatrical trailer for "American Reunion" fills us in on what the rest of the gang has been up to.

And by "the rest of the gang," we mean absolutely everybody. The whole cast from the original film is back to celebrate their class reunion at East Great Falls High, even the castmembers who were missing from the third installment, 2003's "American Wedding." (We're looking at you, Chris Klein.)

The trailer finds the characters we used to know as horny high school kids well into their adult years, and not all of them are handling the change well. From the looks of the trailer, Jim and Michelle's formerly fiery sex life has taken a backseat to raising their young son, Kevin now plays homemaker, and Stifler is still Stifler. Finch coolly rides in on a motorcycle, and Jim's dad is three years' single and looking for some company.

But it wouldn't be an "American Pie" movie if things didn't get out of control, and they inevitably will. The boys promise to make the reunion "their bitch," which says more than enough for what they have planned.

Check out the trailer for an opportunity to revisit or at least catch a glimpse of all the returning characters and find hints for the shenanigans we'll see when the movie, which hits theaters in April of next year.

Taylor Swift, Rihanna Dress To Impress At Billboard Awards

On Sunday night, some of the biggest names in the music industry hit up the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas and decided that sparkles and sequins make for the perfect additions to any red carpet get-up. Well, it is Sin City after all.

Taylor Swift always seems to bring some of that Nashville sparkle to any red carpet. She arrived at the show in a pale-hued, sequined Elie Saab gown. Nicki Minaj showed off her signature sense of style in her baby-blue, body-hugging spandex Mark Fast catsuit.

Selena Gomez turned up the style dial in a sexy, cut-out black Dolce & Gabbana gown that she paired with red strappy sandals with sparkly bow detailing. Like Gomez, Ke$ha opted for some cut-out detailing in her sparkly, slate-gray dress with tulle skirt. Rihanna looked white hot in her men's tailored Max Azria suit, which she kept sexy and feminine by not buttoning her shirt all the way.

Fergie went S&M chic in her little black bandage-type dress by Hervé Léger. Nicole Kidman also wore black. She paired a casual braid hairstyle with a long black gown and Keith Urban. British pop cutie Kyle Minogue looked funky in her little black lacey dress. Inside the show, Britney Spears sat in the audience wearing a skimpy black dress of her own, her hair in loose curls, with little-to-no accessories.

While some stars kept the color scheme low-key, Keri Hilson decided to stand out in her billowy little yellow dress paired with a turquoise-colored belt. Kelly Rowland showed off some of her best assets in a body-hugging, bright pink bandage dress.

The fellas also looked tight on the carpet. Joe Jonas wore all black with white sneakers, Ne-Yo paired his periwinkle suit with a Yankees cap and Justin Bieber wore black tuxedo pants with a gold-lamé tuxedo jacket.

Britney Spears and real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick go on a sexy crime spree in her new "Criminal" video, which follows the pair around London as they hold up banks and convenience stores in between NSFW scenes of the duo getting physical in their hideout.

MTV News caught up with the director, Chris Marrs Piliero, who opened up about casting Trawick and the video's use of guns, leading us through the clip frame by frame.

The video opens with Spears and her rich boyfriend at a glamorous get-together. But things are not as pretty as the party itself. "So here we are at the fancy-schmancy par-tay, [and] one of my directions for her little turnaround reveal was in 'Can't Hardly Wait' when Jennifer Love Hewitt ... walks into the party. ... The actor who plays her d-----bag boyfriend, his name is Freddie, and actually it's his first acting role."

Britney then goes into the lady's room to cry about Freddie's jabs at her, and when she comes out, she sees him flirting with another woman. "For this, I wanted to come up with a really cool line," he said. "I was trying to come up with something that had attitude but was TV-safe, so we went with that," he explained about Britney's crack "So, you're not working the street corner tonight, I see."

When Britney does leave the party, dragged out by her boyfriend, Trawick's bad-boy character comes to the rescue. "The punching was just awesome," Piliero said. "We were watching that, and we were all looking at each other like, 'Is he really hitting him?' "

Of course, Spears gets in her kick to his groin too. "I love her face when she goes for the kick," he added. "She's so good at delivering those fun lines."

Eventually, Brit and Jason's attraction takes over, as they share a kiss and then a whole lot more. "It's time for sexy time," Piliero joked of their naked romp. "So during the bed sex scene, the first take that we did of it, I let the camera roll. ... From that point on, I was just calling out stuff, just directing them ... and it was a really smooth, comfortable experience, actually. And Jason is ripped beyond belief. It's kind of ridiculous."

Britney soon gets caught up in Jason's world of crime. Her first offense? Holding up a convenience store, where she also grabbed some vanilla candles, a nod to her real-life love of them. "There she is yelling at the guy," he said. "That was fun. She really got into it.

"[The] slo-mo shot of them running out [was] very, very cool," he continued. "I love when Jason just kind of throws the woman to the side."

Between crime sprees, the two make time for a very revealing shower scene. "Sexy time in the shower, which is just super hot," he said. "We did the shower scene after the bed scene.. so it was pretty painless and smooth."

The video ends up with the cops closing in on the pair with a parade of bullets being shot into their flat before they make their getaway, driving off into the sunset together.

"We got a bunch of cops here ready to shoot," he said. "Obviously, there's a lot of crime history here. That's why they're ready to go crazy and fire on them. To me, it's awesome to see this shot [because] this is exactly how I pictured it. Their kiss is magical and badass. It's a really epic, cool-looking scene."

Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries Surprised Khloe From The Start

It takes a special guy to keep up with the Kardashians. Lamar Odom and Scott Disick have certainly found their place among the glamorous Hollywood family, but it wasn't as easy for Kris Humphries.

When news broke that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from the basketball player Monday, after only 72 days of marriage, MTV News decided to look back at a June interview with Kim's sisters, Kourtney and Khloé, to get some insight into what may have went wrong with the couple.

"Doing our family show is like [the best]," Khloé told MTV News in June about Kris joining "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" as well as the family itself, hinting that there was some heated discourse between her and Kim about the nature of her relationship with Kris. "We love doing it, 'cause we're all together all the time, so we definitely feel like we're back and in full effect.

"The first episode is, you get to really see how Kim and Kris first started dating," Khloé added. "And especially Kim and I have a lot of arguments about it, because she comes to my house and I have a lot of old memorabilia of her old exes. She doesn't like that, but I don't know who Kris is, so I don't know. I feel like I didn't get the memo to change the pictures, so there's a lot of feuding going on."

Khloé is no stranger to whirlwind romances. She married her husband, Lamar Odom, after only a month of dating. Regardless of her own relationship history, Khloé was still floored by Kim's decision to marry the basketball player so soon into their relationship.

"Mine was insanity in the best way ever," Khloé said of her quickie engagement to Odom. "But [with] Kim's, we were totally surprised. I mean, because I had been working so much, and Kris lives in New Jersey, I've only met him not even a handful of times. We were at a family dinner, and she walks in, and she's like, 'I'm engaged,' but we didn't even know if it was a joke.

"But that's the cool thing about this whole season: You do get to see Kim [and Kris] kind of from the beginning of the relationship to the engagement," Khloé continued. "Obviously, no one knew in between what was going to happen, so it's cool that they have it documented for their future."

During the chat, Khloé pointed out that trying to find a place among the Kardashians isn't always easy. "I mean, we're still a family, so you're going to see what normal families do. There's sibling rivalry, but it's different this time around, because we all have our own families," she explained. "So trying to combine three outside [men into] such a strong family is really hard, and the men, I think, sometimes want to rip their hair out. Thank God Lamar is bald. But it is hard to balance all that. It is always going to be that family dynamic that's always the same. Of course, there's always the fighting and the drama."

As more news breaks from the Kim/Kris split, Khloé and the rest of the Kardashian kids expressed their support for Kim, pledging to stick by their sister.
